Kamala Harris and Donald Trump will fight over the suburbs ahead of the presidential race

Former White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney says the US presidential candidates will fight over the “suburbs” in the upcoming race.

Vice presidential candidates JD Vance and Tim Walz are set to face in a head-to-head debate on Wednesday, October 2 (Australian time).

“Kamala Harris would win in the cities, Trump would win in the rural areas,” Mr Mulvaney told Sky News Australia.

“They’d fight over the suburbs.”
