I always watch your videos to motivate me on what my future could be, and today I was having a bad day because all my assignments were difficult. I felt like computer science might not be for me. i'm not a software engineer, i don't even have a high-paying job, and i work every weekend, saturday and sunday. i think for most people, that's the normal working life :) i wish everyone a happy weekend and to stay healthy!

also the ending is so relatable! CS never clicked that easily with me - i would spend countless hours trying to understand a concept back in college and i wondered if i was fit to be an engineer
but now i'm a software engineer and i enjoy what i do! 😊

I immigrated from Turkey to the U.S. and went to a software school to pursue my dream. Unfortunately, I believe I was misled by those schools, because after 2.5 years, I still couldn’t find a job in tech. I’ve finally come to terms with the fact that I might not be able to start a career as a software engineer, so I recently accepted a job as a teller at a local bank.

I love watching your videos—they inspire me—but they also make me a little sad that I couldn’t achieve what I set out to do.
