I think i messed up almost at the end but besides that we're OK. Really good line to practice picking. I decided to go full downstrokes just to respect the original playing style. You can go with alternat and that probably would be my recommendation. You'll keep better timing and you'll get less tired. Probably you'll get a less aggresive tone though. There's some discussion, but i think there's a difference in tone when you play all downstrokes. Song is in E Locrian (not entirely), coming from F Major. Harmony develpos mostly on the chorus. Other parts are 5ths or just octaves/unison of the main riff:

There's an Em chromatic passage on the interlude, played by the guitar.
