Can you guys help me using it, I'm having problems reading the lecture without a light source

Interesting product but not sure the example with a cellphone camera is the best example since that camera can use the image sensor to get the color temperature data and adjust the white balance.

Not satisfied at all with this product...
It "may" be able to get ambient light temperature but according to your evaluation board it is absolutly not able to capture object color even in a good configuration with 2 external white balanced LED reflecting light from a unicolor object to the sensor it self.
Clearly not able to make any product color verification or sorting.
I was teased by the specifications and now I am quite disappointed.
