After trying Crystal at a local store, I decided to purchase Beyond. The Crystal is seriously big, heavy, stuffy and uncomfortable. If you only look at the fit, there isn't much improvement from the 8KX. If you haven't had any problems wearing the 8KX, you can buy it. If you feel uncomfortable after wearing the 8KX, don't buy it.

Your HFOV/VFOV result chart doesn't make sense, H and V are mostly flipped. And the values on the Aero are completely off.

I get mine today. Unfortunately I chose this over the Bigscreen Beyond. Edge to edge clarity really does matter especially at 1k+.

Too many cons for me that are supposed to bring a Pimax Crystal Light with LH tracking integrated! They could also change the form factor of the Crystal light and make the device lighter!

It is now 2024 - you are wrong. They are doing a Crystal Lite VR headset. No battery, no eye tracking. Just everything else and connection to Display Port for 699 dollars.

For me it is a wait and see all the video reviews on the release product. I currently have a Quest 3 and does everything I really need for SIM racing games.

Will I ever get a PIMAX product, only time shall tell if I run into performance problems. Right now, NO.
