I've always loved this version. I prefer Marvas version of all these songs.! Not putting down any of the artist that covered them. But it's the way she delivered it. Years later, and I still hum her version.

[0:22-0:24] You know, there are some singers who just possess a natural internal beauty. Marva is one of them. I'm obsessed with singers. Singing is just a remarkable beautiful ability. Remember, back in the day of Kings and Emperors, the most prized possession of King/Emperors were "Odelettes". Basically singers. Was not money, intelligent people, doctors, authors, athletes, businessman etc. Odelettes or singers. As a former musician who grew up in church and during an Era of marvelous RnB singers (Mariah carey, whitney, Brandy, Monica, Aaliyah, Aretha) and just so much more singers from 60s, 70s and currently including Gospel singers and singers from other countries (china, sweden, venezuela) and being a person that used to go through the internet listening to singers from all different churchea, record labels, YouTube videos, unsigned artists, gossip..you get my point. What I'm trying to say is Marva is a beautiful singer. If you have ears to hear (which many don't ), you would agree.

P.S. my ex girlfriend was another one who unfortunately no one will ever know because she turned away from her talent and decided to get marri3d and become a nurse. I used to sleep with her singing. Wake up to her singing as an alarm. A criminal travesty that she buried her gift. She was on Mariah Carey level. And im not exaggerating.
