You use the 'anchor' tool within the properties panel on the (default) right side of VS10.
Anchor locks an element to the sides of your choosing, which means that if you lock a button to the left and only to the left that it will when you make the window larger scale that it will stay with the left side of the window and not in the middle, if you choose the right side as well as the left then it will resize the button so that it will be one long button across the form.

It's working for others, just try the tutorial again and don't quit. You can do it.
You might want to check you are coding in .NET framework of the correct version too and not C++ or some thing else. :)

@akthm11
Well visual studio houses different languages, think of it as multilingual, its this program that helps to cement the building blocks, however...
Visual studio is a more upgraded version of Visual basic, Visual Basic is a programming language, referred to as VB.NET.
So Visual Studio has its own original language ( VB.NET )
but it also can code using different languages aswell like ( C# C++ CSS etc. )
Hope it helps you understand it more :)

Press the F5 key to debug the program (test).
Alternatively their is the green 'play' styled arrow below the toolbar at the top of the window. :)

@Youngone2k9
Hey, not 100% certain as to why your getting an error, however...
Try going through the tutorial from scratch and make sure you are coding with VB.NET and not another programming language.
Hope it helps :)

You don't want to be trying to run the code me.show from its own window because when your ready to go back to form1 you want to code form2 button to do 'form1.show' If you understand? Thanks
