THIS IS ONE OF THE GREATEST VIDEOS I'VE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE THANK YOU!

One of the better videos on the subject. Most vids are woefully inadequate in showing the inter-relationship of components. Thank you.

As a visual person, I get more out of this than someone yammering at me. well done

For those of you that are still baffled, the inner pad hits the rotor first and the force of the fluid starts pushing on the entire iron caliper in the opposite direction which is connected to the outer pad which moves secondly and they then both put the squeeze on the rotor in equal amounts of force. Nobody seems to know how the pads "back off" but I think they just quit pressing which works just fine.

Simple and straight to the point :) thanks

I’m assuming there are two break pads. One on each side of the rotor? The caliper pushes both break pads up against the rotor? The piston is powered by the break petal?
