The mod developers gave me a little early access to the soon to be released new version of the mod and inside is a whole new scenario to play with. Set in the century of blood we will take a high valyrian stranded after the destruction of his home and everything he knew. Where will he go? what will he do? who will he become?

If you enjoy check out my channel for my other series and if you feel sub so you can know when I upload new parts.

The story of the escape of Rhaenyra and Parquello would be an interesting one. Really shows how bad a ruler Maelor is when he's not at war. Good vid!

You should ask the King of the Stepstones for his fealty, since he is of your religion and culture he might accept

To be honest, the Varezys are in my eyes the least favorable family out of the families from the 3 main series
(excluding Dany here because she's a show character and thus can't be really compared to the custom character series of House Varezys, House Royce and House Osgrey)
as they kinda tend to be these arrogant snobs in terms of their entire actions.

The Osgreys had some dark members as well, but they acted due to having their own principles towards family and their people - even Mallon murdered in order to keep his family safe from my point of view!
The Royces of the Seven Kingdoms are maybe zealous and are more or less conquerors, who try to unify the Vale, but they have as well their principles: Keeping the kingdoms united and protected in order to protect the Old Faith from the new religion, which the Andals brought them. And they always stood in for their allies, when revolts happened, honored their agreement with loyal allies like the Clans of the Mountain Vale and the Mudds.
The Varezys though are however conquerors, who gouvern a corrupt Freehold. Not only do they reunite the Free Cities by force, keeping their territories subjugated by the power of dragons, but they tend to often act selfish, when it comes to their vassals. As well they also make themselves too many friends, which turn out as enemies in the end, while their entire dynasty has a problem when it comes to succession (most of Aurion's kids died, while Maelor has no luck in finding a second wife - we can only pray, that the curse of the old Emperor has ended with his death). As it was pointed out, none of the other family members was really loyal towards the other relatives.
But while Aurion was actually keeping it together, Maelor really feels even when watching the series like some sort of Viserys-character: He thinks he's competent and that he can rule like his father, but the Freehold breaking apart straight after his father's death should have taught him better. Instead of becoming a better ruler, I rather get as well the feel of him being the decadent ruler, who never really questioned how his father lived before and probably believes that his right to rule is a mandate, bestowed upon him by the Valyrian Gods. It's maybe worse than his father - maybe you could call it a midas touch, as the Varzys conquer much, but fail to reign their realm proper during peace times. ^^
And Rhaenyra Varezys... I don't know why, but this woman reminds me in some ways of Rhaenyra Targaryen, who started the Dance of Dragons in terms of how she fled the Emperor's court with her lover. Wouldn't be surprised, if she would lead the next revolt as the original Rhaenyra declared war on Aegon II.

So... I definitly would say Maelor 'The Weak' is justified.
Maybe I'm just biased and interpret too much into your roleplay, NG (which I definitly adore - without it, it wouldn't be possible to compare the different characters towards eachother, so really am appreciating the good job you're doing at it <3 ), where I should rather see Maelor and his family more positive. But well, that's just the impression they gave me.
The series is nontheless fun for me, as I like to concentrate and focus more on the smaller characters like 'The King in the Stepstones' and of course
Lord Paramount Aerion Rinaeros, the man, whose efforts during Maelor's wars shouldn't be forgotten easily.
I think if the Rinaeros dynasty and Aerion die, I will be very sad, because I actually like him.
Maybe it's his appearence, maybe it's his backstory - but I really like him as a custom character as he is memorable. Maybe not always in name, but in terms of his actions.

I really think you should start being more proactive in the politics of the free holed instead of just reacting to it you could at lest try to keep the factions under control by using favors to get people out of factions. One other you do is you don't really pay attention to pop ups in right hand corner for example in your Royce game there was a pop up about someone trying to plot to kill your brother but you overlooked it and your mouse was hovering over the pop but you said nothing and click the pop off. And when are you going to choose a syncretic religion ?
