Join us on our continuing adventures in Malta! This time, we’re exploring the capital city, Valletta.

We hop on the ferry from Sliema (only €3.80 return).

We find out whether it’s worth hiring a car on Malta…

We start at St Elmo’s Fort and work our way down to the Triton Fountain at the gates of the city

We see the Siege Bell and try to work our what the air raid siren is for. Do let us know in the comments if you know what it was for!

Merchant Street is a great place for souvenir shopping and takes us to St John’s Co-Cathedral. You MUST visit this beautiful place – it’s quite awe inspiring! How often do you get to see Caravaggio paintings in the place they were created for?

Lunch time! We head to the Food Market and tuck into lovely poke bowls and wash it down with Kinnie, Malta’s own soft drink. Delish! Can you buy it in the UK??

Hastings Garden is a lovely quiet place and check out the views across to the Three Cities.

The Saluting Battery turns out to be an emotional place for Naomi. #missyouDad

It’s Neil’s birthday so we celebrate with a drink (or two) at Café Society on Triq San Gwann. A lovely spot with a great vibe.

We pop into The Basilica of Our Lady of Mount Carmel which was rebuilt after WWII as the original was destroyed in the war. Then back across the water for a final look at the gorgeous view of the city.

What a gorgeous place. I think I might have been there once when working on the ships, but can't remember it! Thanks for a lovely tour of the city. It's stunning. Wow the gold in that church!! George is gorgeous!! Love a food market. Fountain found - bring on the guns! Ah wow, that's so amazing, to stand where your dad did. Lovely. We'd love to visit Valletta. It has so much character. Cheers 🍻

Straight off I am liking your vlog style. I haven’t been to Malta since I was 16 which is a lifetime ago. Keep
Telling Kim we will go. This has made me certain to make it happen. Not sure what the air raid warning was. Did you ever find out.
Valletta has changed since I was there last but then I was only seeing it through young eyes. The cathedral is simply beautiful. Stunning. Deffo our type of thing. St George did get around a bit. Right Lunch time. Who doesn’t like a food market. Tastes like the early 80s. Love that. Kim would love the gardens. That’s her passion. What a view. 👌🏻. Ah steps. I am not a fan if I’m honest. 😂. Wow the view and water is just stunning. A very special spot. 🙏🏼 love the cannons. Thoroughly enjoyed seeing around Valletta with you both. A lot of memories for me there with my Mum & Dad. Thanks for the tour. Have a great weekend. 👍🏻🚶🏻‍♂️🚶‍♀️

The word Sliema hasn't got an 'a' in front of the 'm' so why do you keep saying Slieama and not Sliema? Talk to locals.
