Must stress that this is mostly the case in South Korea and Japan. China Street Fashion feels quite trendy and down over in Southeast Asia, comfort over fashion is the norm.

Where I live in Singapore for example, Uniqlo has turned into the go-to shop for basic yet stylish clothing and the AIRism collections are such bestsellers that Uniqlo AIRism is considered the Singapore uniform 😂

All that aside, I do have to agree hands down that South Korea and Japan have the best fashion sense, and the presence of seasons allows for the variety in fashion. Korean and Japanese fall/winter fashion are so practical and stylish yet they are simple. I must also add that modesty is very important in Asia, so that's why there is a strong culture of covering up and dressing in a way that does not make you stick out like a sore thumb, hence the strong emphasis on timeless clothing!

That really is the case. Haven't been to Seoul but everyone dresses immaculately in Japan (not only Tokyo!). I live in London and it simply pales in comparison. The most interesting brands IMO come from Japan and that has been the case for decades now.

Thats why the Chinese can duplicate designer bags so well! Like Chanel etc. It’s bad, but still they do it. Japan has amazing denim we don’t even have here in the US

Definitely dress better than Americans — that’s overtaken by athlesure wear

Back in 1996, I was living on Okinawa, Japan, and regularly traveled to mainland Japan. To Tokyo. I was fascinated by the awesome fashion styles worn by men and women. At the time, Japanese young people were into anything that had the American 🇺🇸 flag on it, Levi’s Jeans, and Doc Martins. The older gentlemen wore sports coats on weekends. I once spent an afternoon chatting with a man who would the age I am today, 55, at a park in Tokyo. He walked up to me when he saw me watching a Japanese wedding party. He was dressed immaculately, just to relax at the park on a Sunday. I have had suits made for me in Thailand, from high quality Italian fabrics. In just 3 fittings, the suits were perfectly made. Keep sharing the content. I appreciate it

I can confirm. I saw exquisitely dressed people in Osaka. All the vehicles were on point, too.

Japanese are obsessed with quality in everything they do, wear or eat.

Not true for everyone. Why would I believe that Asians are ‚better‘ dressed? What a funny thing to say. As some commented that Japanese are more neat in their wear, why would you think other men are not? Italians are much better in their fashion simplicity. French man, Brits, etc. have their own great style. Fashion is still very personal, so we cannot claim one is better than the other… All is a point of taste.

Asians have great attention to detail, and smaller hands to tailor well. The best tailors in the US are Asian. The lack in creativity and originality, but take an idea and perfect it
