I have one of these without the 9v power option. If I add a 9v Jack to the chassis and wanted to wire it directly to the battery clip, do I need a resistor to protect it?

Hi and thanks for the video. I remember I had one of these years ago that I got directly from you guys. It sounded phenomenal, but because as a studio session player I have to be careful with unwanted noise, I could not use it as much as I want unfortunately. I was wondering though, if the news ones you guys somehow addressed that issue? Is there any mod for the noise just like your mod for the Boss GE-7? I would really like to order another one from you, but if it's still as noisy (mostly hiss) as I remember it was, then I guess I have to think of getting some other phaser units. Just wanted to add that, I never increased the internal volume trim pot on, and it was always at the unity, but the pedal itself was pretty noisy whenever it was turned on. Cheers!
