Being an activate is better for the card in some way, you cant combine it with wong or odin but it gives you time to buff it even in play for a bigger debuff on the enemy card.

If this was an on reveal card it would be disgusting in bounce decks with silver sable and copy effects like grand master, nico, and frigga. You could also throw a hazmat in there for more affliction but that would probably be too much at that point.

It being activate is actually really good because you can mega buff it and win that lane. I run a scarlet spider namora deck that this would be perfect for.

I think having a negative card that goes great into a buff deck is going to be a really good design. He's going to have that same kind of power gain for you that Spider-Woman had back for everyone in Pool 2. When he puts out positive on his side and screws them for the same amount on their side. If you can get him buffed a bunch and put him out on 5, he becomes a turn 6 game changer for a single lane.

Because activate is generally worse than on reveal they will probably be the most often free. 🧐

People were complaining that there were not enough activate cards added to the game a few weeks ago, now we are complaining that on reveals are being replaced, that's wild.

There are tons of on reveal cards, while just few activate. They want to exploit new keyword and that's right thing to do in my opinion.
