I was there on my arrival in Japan ten days ago ! I will come back to Tokyo in a week.
In-between, I'm spending my time in Shikoku with splendid cherry blossoms as well, and I will spend some time back in Honshu this weekend.
It is an incredible trip. ❤️

It was fun getting to catch one of your livestreams live. It looks like those of us in Alaska and Hawaii have a better chance time wise to catch you live while Mainland U.S. has already gone to sleep.Thanks for these recent videos from Ueno Park yesterday and Tokyo Riverside today. Anyone who missed yesterday's at Ueno is in for a special treat if they go back and play it around 28:00 minutes or so where you photographed an animated bird perched on a branch surrounded by cherry blossoms with a blue sky background. That was classic and would make a great YouTube short with accompanying music.

we were just there earlier today around noon. we came to ueno park first to check on the sakuras and then took the ginza line to asakusa. while we were tasting some ice creams, we observed like, people were just streaming in, non stop. it was fun though.

No John. The head of beer you refer to is the silver floor at the top of the building next door. The yellow building is the beer and the silver floor on top is the head. I do not know what the yellow poo is - maybe it is what happens if you drink the beer?

😢... missed this livestream. Can't say enough about how great it is to be able to watch on playback 😊. So beautiful to walk down the river and see the Sakura trees blooming. But for me, a little too crowded. Would be a challenge to try and capture a great photo without people hovering all around though. Surprised there were no street food vendors around since there were such a large crowd of people. Still... I would love to be there during this time of year. Mahalo for taking us along my brother. 😊🤙
