My plants seem to thrive when I forget that they exist. If I seem to actually care, they die.

Using different water busted the experiment if you ask me.

I’ve never wanted to hug a plant so badly in my life before. 😭

I think you should do the experiment this way:

Give them the same type of water but the difference is the way you talk to them.

OR

Use different types of water but don't add the love/hate part 'cause there are too many variables involved.

😳 I’m going to apologize to my Lemon tree right now

Maybe I’m too analytical but there’s way too many problems with this to be a proper scientific test so I’m annoyed haha

They do have feelings. A study where they hooked up the plant to a machine that measured reaction when the plant was stimulated recorded the plants having a reaction...if I remember correctly they also talked to the plants.

This is actually a wonderful representation of how powerful our words actually are!

The 2 plants need to be watered with same water, put them in diff rooms … then speak to each differently ( hate and love ) and then compare . If u use poison water in one off course it will kill the plant even if u speak lovingly to her … the only differences should be how u talk to them ( nothing else) . The result is pretty cool, I collect violets and some I got they were dying due to neglect, I bought 2 with colors I didn’t have In my collection and figured I would use a leaf of each to start a new plant, the 2 I bought I didn’t do anything besides take care them the usual way and talk to them while my coffee brews Now they are beautiful… just like their sisters 😃! I am not sure if it’s “felling “ but they have awareness of how they are treated … after all we are all connected in some way ( this is my opinion ) . 💜

It’s probably peppered throughout the comments but I cannot emphasize the importance and power of our words. This does not just apply to plants, things, water, etc. It applies especially to people, your own body, your progress in life, etc. Talk life, talk success, talk victory, talk prosperity, talk health. I’m a living testimony of the product of the words I spoke 4 years ago and i have not stopped since.

My dad put classical music on a pool timer 8hrs a day in his green house. Every other week we had to cut plants back because they were bending over at the ceiling. Tomatoes, in an 8ft tall room! The Bible says life and death are in the power of the tongue. Just saying…

The plant with "I hate you!!" written on it is making me cackle. Imagine if a guest came over and saw that without context.

This made me cry!!! A plant! Made me cry!! Thank you for this enlightening video. Think about what happens to kids who hear that from angry parents. All they feel is the hatred they receive at the moment and it's devastating for them. 💖Bless the soul of all living things. 🌹🌹🌹🌹

The vegan teacher after seeing this: *”Oop-“*

Plants do have feelings. Even thought they don’t have a brain, they are still a living thing which results in them having some kind of motherboard that controls feelings and pain. I always tell my plants I love them, I grew hundreds of thousands of apples off of my apple trees last spring. They just kept on growing!

This legitimately got me choked up for a second. Guess it's time for therapy when I'm jealous of a plant.

This was actually the result of a legit study done by scientists. Look it up, it’s so so so interesting!

Did anyone else feel bad for the “hated” plant? Lol
I did an experiment with rice and water under Saran Wrap.
The “loved” rice grew a pinkish mold and the “hated” rice grew black mold.

I always tell my plants I love them.

I was taught since I was little that plants have feelings, and that plants will grow better and healthier with kind words. It's true.
