McLaren boss Zak Brown warned on Friday of "massive consequences" if champions Red Bull were found to have breached Formula 1 rules on adjusting car set-ups during closed 'parc ferme' conditions. Have Red Bull broken the rules, and how should they be punished?

This 'device' does not change the ride height, neither at the front or the back. it doesn't change the height of the floor or the plank. Absolutely terrible reporting!

I think Zak has something to hide himself and is looking for distraction...

Of course other teams make it sound much more nefarious. Red Bull doesn't have anything that other teams don't have, they just have a different construction which makes it easier to change the ride height during the weekend. Without any evidence teams are suggesting now that this would allow Red Bull to break parc ferme rules and avoid being noticed, which is a slanderous claim at this point. Nothing has even indicated that this possible, let alone that Red Bull has done such a thing. There is nothing illegal about the car, so just inventing a theory on how Red Bull could cheat if a whole bunch of underlying assumptions were true is not a controversy. It is just disinformation.

If Vertsappen finishes ahead of him in both races this weekend Norris's titles shots are very very small.

As long as the device isn't electronically controlled to move, than it's no more illegal than when Merc had their DAS system.
