The most elegible allies for Prussia - Russia and France.

Aka the two countries Germany went to war with first in WW I. If you had added a dynamo to the rotation of von Bismarck's body in his grave you could've powered all of Germany.

Fun fact: That Bismarck on Ice gag is one of the BEST throwaway gags in the history of Extra History.

Prussia was INSANELY militaristic. If you weren't part of the military or at least have been, you were worthless. Why else would everybody love parading their uniform around? There are entire books about the insatiable love of Prussia for their military. And, afterwards, Germany. Carl Zuckmayr's "Der Hauptmann von Köpenick" comes to mind.

Germany and Poland was only a thing after 1871, inherited from the many centuries before. PRUSSIA and Poland, oh dear me. Yeah, the Polish never had cause to ever trust anybody who broadly speaks German...

von Bismarck is the reason a unified Germany exists. Very many people are on the fence if unifying Germany was a good thing. But von Bismarck believed it was inevitable. So he decided to unify it under his rule, and nobody elses. The fact that he only ever got into power because everybody else was either fed up or too insane is... inspiring. Maybe some of us still can catch a lucky break one day...

Prussia is famous for its military and when the German empire helped to train other countries armies they usually sent Prussian military advisors to train armies. :)

Now almost all of Prussia is owned by Poland and Russia tho.

Germany's biggest problem in the 20th century was the fact Bismark couldn't live forever.

the war between Poland and Germany basicly started 936 with the establishment of germany. Otto the great started dioceses and castles in the mainly slavic borderlands to stop slavic tribes from raiding german villiges. A view of the districs of Berlin have names of the slavic tribes that once lifed there. the Marzahnen for example lift in the Brandenburg, that was conquered by Otto the great as a 16 year old boy, befor he become king. inbetween Otto the great and Otto von Bismark you had hundrets of years of Teutonic knights fighting in the east and the last Teutonic knight started Prussia

Partly because they had never been a Unified German Country, they had to constantly be militarized because the larger empires like France and Austria were always harassing them.

So yes, when all the small well fortified German states came together, it was the biggest deal Mainland Europe had seen since Rome.

Well it was a time when Prussia was considered to have the best land army in Europe.
Also "Hitler went in the footsteps of Bismach" why did you think the best warship in World War II was named bismach?
