External Iliac Artery (A. Iliaca Externa):
- Course: Through the Vascular space (Lacuna Vasorum) to then become the Femoral Artery (A. Femoris)
- Side Branches
○ Deep Circumflex Artery (arteria circumflexa iliaca profunda)
○ Inferior Epigastric Artery (arteria epigastrica inferior) goes inside the lateral umbilical fold (Plicae umbilicalis lateralis). Side branches:
- Pubic branch, communicate with the pubic branch of obturator artery (form Corona Mortis/Crown of death - significance in surgery)
- Cremasteric Artery (arteria cremasterica)
- Artery of the round ligament (arteria ligamentum teres uteri)
