Man, I love my 200mm Fujiya pump pliers, have a set of 180mm Knipex too. I'd say the Knipex are heavier duty, but the Fujiya fit better in my hand, and are lighter in my tool bag.

I wish Fujiya or Engineer/Vampliers did a set of VDE/1000v rated electricians pliers. I have Wihas currently but they don't hold a candle to my Engineer pliers.

Just got that set of screw extractor pliers recently. They're made in Vietnam. I love them so far.

Those slip joint pliers just made it to my Christmas list! Great video

I haven't tried Fujiya yet but if they are as good as my Igarashi 8" slip joints then I'm game. Serious teeth that seem to never ever wear down. Those Kurokin slip joint pliers look nice.
Cool vid!

I don’t own any Fujiya products. Need to give them a try. Thanks Tony!

Already have way too many plyers, so why am I watching this video?
Because I'm sure I need one or two more😁

Thanks for the well made and, more importantly, HONEST tool review. I never once thought about any affiliation with the tool maker: and that's the way I like it! Please keep up the great work. Liked & subscribed!

Hello again Tony
Thank you for another Great Video. I agree, the Japanese tools are very well made. I brought a set of the Vampire pliers a while back. And had remove a stripped screw from an aircraft panel. Boy did it ever save me a ton of time. But those are the only Japanese tools I have, so far. Again thank you

What I like about Japanese players; they're designed for people with smaller hands. (They find ways to maximize leverage while not making the handle open too wide for small hands yet still allowing the jaws to open enough to be useful... it's all about handle/hathf length and shape, and hinging mechanism. As far as shape, it's not like the bends in the handles are significantly different, it's the precise placement of the bends in the handle... like exactly how far from the crux does the handle begin to bend and twist to the sape of a griping hand... exactly how long is the palm bump, etc.)

Side Note / Fun Fact:
A lot of differences between western style tools and Japanese style tools were developed during Sakoku (the 217 year long period when Japan was closed to the western world).

Question for you about the 90cs-125. Where are you getting them for $25. I’m seeing $40+ on Amazon and EBay. Great videos sir. Love the channel.

Years ago...too many years ago ...when I was a kid, Japan meant junk. But that was soooo long ago. Now, from autos to tools to electronics they are among the best, especially when price is considered.. But Knipex is hard to beat for pliers.

Tools are so cheap over there, mean while over in nz you could be looking at $80 plus
