Instead of killing the llama you could have just taken the carpet from its inventory and used that to block up from a crafting table

More easy way(needs basic Parkour skills): firstly, take the carpet from the lama then kill it to get the chest. Now convert the log into four planks. Now using the carpet jump to the first block. Now put 1 plank 2 blocks ahead of u and jump on it. Repeat this process until you probably reached the top or one block below it. Now place the chest and escape to ur freedom! If u are 2 blocks below it, put the chest, open it and jump quickly (this probably works)

You can dismount a llama and land on top of a two block ledge

Well there another way to escape, just use the planks like stairs and them you breake the planks behind you so you can have more planks so you can build your self outa there and there.

better tha killing the lama, take out the carpet it was wearing and build with it.

Instead of killing the Lama you could permanently borrow its carpet

Pretty sure if you just put the first block one block up you can use the lama to Get om top of that one

You could also position yourself just right so that when you get off the llama you can get on something one block in the air, so that works as well

You could’ve just damage boosted with llama spit. His death was in vein :(

I though you could make like a type of staircase with the blocks, then nudge the lama up the staircase before breaking the blocks at the bottom of the staircase, mount the lama, then dismount to spawn on your block in the air aprox. 3-4 block up then just build up from there
