On March 10, the Core Observatory passed over an extra-tropical cyclone On March 10, the Core Observatory passed over an extra-tropical cyclone about 1055 miles (1700 kilometers) due east of Japan's Honshu Island. Satellite data shows the full range of precipitation in the storm.

I am thinking of studying MSc Geo-Information Science. I think these are the kinds of data I will be using, but I am unsure to what extent the course/ this topic is mathematically based.

I wonder if this microwave imaging, can and will affect sea life and migrating birds. Has anyone projected the potential loss? It sounds great to have all of this information, but at what cost?
