Try It Tuesday - Bike Helmet Fit

To celebrate bike to work week Grant from the Outdoor Recreation School joins us to teach how to properly fit your bicycle helmet with a couple of tips about choosing the right helmet and when to replace it. Remember to keep your hemet flat on your head so that the top of your forehead is covered in order to protect the frontal lobe of your brain. Choose a proper sized hemet for your head such that it can be adjusted in the ways Grant shows us. Many helmets are “universally” sized, but there are xl and youth sizes as well so that we can all have a correctly fit helmet.
