Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai To Meet BJP High Command In Delhi To Discuss Over Cabinet Expansion

The political fervour in the state of Karnataka is increasing ahead of the assembly elections next year after Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said on Tuesday that he is ready to talk to Union Home Minister Amit Shah about expanding his cabinet during his visit to New Delhi. The remarks were made ahead of a meeting between Amit Shah and the chief ministers of Maharashtra and Karnataka to discuss the two states' border conflict. Bommai has been under a lot of strain for a while now because of the enlargement of his cabinet and the addition of new members. The topic will be decided when the Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh assemblies elections are over, the chief minister has stated.
