The spitter incident happened in my city (Vancouver, BC). The woman wasn't wearing a mask which was mandatory on transit at the time, which is what started the incident in the first place. The police investigated after they were made aware of the video and understandably, the woman never came forward as she was going to be charged for assault, which was much more serious when it came to intentional spitting back then! Most locals sided with him, myself included. 😤😷

I worked juvenile justice for 18 years. I've been spit on and hit dead in the eyes! I've been bitten clean through upper arm and a WHOLE LOT MORE ! Pink eye that graduated to temporary blindness. And the other was close to a vat of sepsis. And had to have aids tests for a year! All the while a police officer was dying from spit and bites and he passed away! Spitting is no damn joke!!
