Yuyuko's Saigyouji's theme from Touhou 7: Perfect Cherry Blossom

Fixed a volume quality issue. I've extended it to 15 minutes as an apology.
I also became picky about the picture, which is why it's been changed again.

Border of Life is an incredible theme, but the high-pitched trumpets have always given me a headache. I would say perhaps it's symbolism for something, but I think PCB's soundtrack is just like that.

The tree is actually a youkai tree, kinda. The tree was just like any other cherry blossom tree, but it was so beautiful that many people decided to bury their body under the tree after death, but the tree one day started to attack any humans nearby and grew more ferocious and take the lives of so many humans that Yuyuko had to eventually sacrifice into the tree in order to seal the tree . I'm not sure how she lost her memories but I'm pretty sure yukari had something to do with it.

I think the high-pitched ZUNpets (I’m looking at you, 1:40) are supposed to symbolize crying, especially a fat, uncontrollably intense *ugly cry.* Either of Yuyuko or the player.

The entire song sounds like it’s building up to a grand outpouring of screaming tears, and 1:40 is when those floodgates burst open. At least, that’s what I’ve always gotten from it.

Imo, she's one or the greatest final boss in the series, with Junko, Sumireko, and Keiki.
I love her, for everything about her. She's 4 in my sorter.
And, that's very obvious, I love her theme.

gosh, this is definitely my favorite touhou boss theme — of course that’s partly because yuyuko is my favorite character from the series, but still. it’s just so powerful and emotionally-charged, but also so elegant and pretty sounding. the piano and strings at the very end reprising the intro notes are stunning.

I love how the constant crescent notes feel like you're watching the Saigyo Ayakashi bloom slowly but steadily in front of your eyes

Yuyuko's theme is in my (completely non-biased opinion) ZUN's greatest theme yet. It has a really good buildup that leads into frantic and intense, almost painful crescendoes while perfectly balancing that with the tragedy and drama behind Yuyuko's backstory but the theme is also very powerful and undermines her immense power. Honestly, because of this theme (and its remixes) Yuyuko became my favourite character in the whole franchise in the first place.

I used to think this song was boring but once I played the game, I found it SO intense especially with the build up leading to 0:26.
