Is a fire extinguisher ball (afo) able to extinguish fire lit from 25000 matches domino? Watch until the end and find out.

AFO (auto fire off ) is a fully automatic fire extinguisher.When throw into or rolling to fire, it will explode , extinguish the fire source immediately and make huge noise to catch everyone's attention nearby.

In this video we tried to test that can a fire extinguisher ball extinguish fire lit from tons of matches and We were surprised !

The issue here seems to be that match heads are quite flammable and the explosion was unable to douse the heat so it *probably* was out for a second or two and then reignited. …in a real world application like a grease or fluid fire, if they heat source can’t be cooled sufficiently and the fuel is still in contact, the fire will reignite. I want to see these tested in a turkey frier or on a hydraulic fluid fire.

Nice test! This proved to be a tough match for the fire extinguisher ball. At least it may notify nearby people and stall the fire for a few seconds.

Still think it's a good product, especially for a grow tent. I don't think 25000 matches in one place will be something people just have lying around. So in a realistic application say an electrical fire this thing would win.

Here is the thing. Those aren't designed to sit on the surface like that to put out a fire. They are to be installed into and deployed in enclosed spaces.  

We use them in solar installs inside the bays that contain the equipment. When they go off inside an enclosed space then all of the fire extinguishing material stays inside and coats the fire and puts it out. This test allows for most of it to fly away.  

Picture if you have a fire cracker on the palm of an open hand and it goes off. You burn your hand. Set off the same fire cracker in a closed hand and you won't have anymore fingers or maybe even no more hand. Testing like that isn't an accurate assessment of its capabilities.

very satisfying to look at this though a bummer that those matches on the left did not all go up. From a firefighting perspective this is nonsense of course, since just throwing all those matches of the table or doing nothing at all would have put this fire out.

Glad i decided to watch this BEFORE hanging fire balls all around the house causing my wife to suspect i'm loosing my shit lol. Although was pretty cool effect IT DID NOT EXTINGUISH a cpl matches let alone a grease fire. Thanks for the video 👍👍
