Bowling Green State University's Karl Brooks was selected by the Packers in the sixth round of the NFL Draft on Saturday.
The standout defensive lineman for the Falcons was taken with the 179th overall pick in the draft by Green Bay.
"I'm just blessed that I was able to get a phone call," said Brooks. "When I saw the caller ID come in from Green Bay, a smile came to my face. It was just a blessing to get a call from the Packers and that was just an amazing opportunity for me."
