Okay here it goes, I'm a 63-year-old man been married 42 years. Most of what you're saying is correct. But I think some of it isn't. How have I made my marriage last this long? It's quite simple, I make her laugh I treat her with kindness and respect I always do something once a week whether it's writing a little note thanking her for being my wife! Buying her flowers just because taking her out on a date once a week. The love I give her she gets back to me 20 fold. We've had a rocky moments but I'll tell you this a woman wants a man a good provider a partner that shows love is Love and more importantly a man that truly listens. In return I get the same from her. I'm in love with my wife just like I was the first time I saw her. I really lucked out. I can't tell you how many times she is told me that I'm a true man in every sense of the word, and that she wishes other women could find the same traits in a man that she found in me.
