Hey! I misinterpreted the question from 2 a at 16:40. The direction of the force given on the diagram is wrong. It should be pointing towards the centre of the circle. My bad. This is the correct interpretation:

Thumb = force felt
Index finger = direction of magnetic field
Middle finger = motion of positively charged particle ( not current here)

(I thought we had to consider the direction of current as our middle finger, but we needed to consider the movement of the positively charged particle instead)

So, if we consider the particle at the bottom, the middle finger should point to the right, thumb should point towards the centre of the circle so the index finger points into the page, which is basically “vertically downwards” according to the context of this question.

Since the force is always perpendicular to the velocity, it undergoes circular motion.

Thanks for pointing this out, and sorry for my mistake!

Also, I was unsure about a part about the direction of the current in question number 6 at 01:20:00. I explained that part in my MJ 2022/42 video over here:

I love how he explains the questions in details instead of rushing through, much love.

for question 6 you can use right hand grip rule to find the direction of the current ie anti clockwise because direction of field is out of page using lenz's law

Why we don't use negative sign? 1:10:40 . Is negative sign also acceptable?

FOR QUESTION 6B ( 1:20:00 ) DID YOU EVER FIND OUT WHY IT HAS TO FLOW THAT WAY ;-;

1:42:54 oh you mean 1 mol (deu)+ 1 mol (deu) formed the helium so 1mol of deuterium forms 0.5 moles of helium

Hello! For Q2 how did you figure out the particle is experiencing a forces to the right?

Brother in Q3a) you wrote T = thermodynamic pressure instead of thermodynamic temperature .

Hi sir, q=mc(change in temp), so for 3(ii) 34:19 why shouldn’t thermal energy be 0 for CA?

your answer for q8 a ii is incorrect because the gradient cant be so steep from the peak at A= 250

Hi. Thanks for these very helpful videos. I was a bit confused about question 2AI. Why is it that force is in the direction of tangential motion of the particle at that point? I though that since the particle is moving in a circular path, the force must be centripetal hence should point towards the centre of the circular path?

Question 2, direction of force towards centre

In Q3 (a), it will be thermodynamic temperature, not pressure

Hey, i have a question.

I've seen you write your answer in s.f according to data s.f given, but is there any problem if i write it in extra decimals like 4s.f instead of 2s.f for better accuracy of answer obtained?

Your answer would be highly appreciated!
