Love this channel. Would of been a blessing when I started a long time ago, but I'm glad someone stepped up and started to do tutorials on Reason from a Hip Hop perspective. Great channel to learn from 🙏💪

Yo! I've been a performing funk/jazz hip-hop drummer for 30 years and producing chill Lo-Fi, bedroom head nodders for about two decades. I've been using reason since 3 because we got it grifted working at Guitar Center many years ago LOL, but as much as I've learned and got good at using heavy-handed effects like delay, Reverb etcetera, when it comes to exporting, I've been faking it all these years. Plus I've grown a little hard of hearing as I've gotten older. Go figure, sitting on stage between giant amplifiers my whole life. 🤔😎
This caused me to over compress which my music Buddies always tell me I do. This is because my hearing is going in a way where I can hear highs and lows but mids are difficult for me to process in my brain. Blew out the entire frequency range on my heary parts heh. So when recording I tend to boost lows and highs which ends up having to be compressed in the final edit because it's peaking like a motha. I've learned how to get better using my hard of hearing at mixing but as far as exporting like I said I've always faked it and yo! This is the greatest video I've ever seen on this, you really broke it down and I actually get it! I can't tell you thanks enough yo, this video is the bee's knees. If ya don't mind I'll see if I can send you the actual track I'm working on at the this very moment that made me have to look up your video. Cheers!

Super great info. As I work with a producer up in my town, he keeps hitting me with things I don't know about, so I play catch-up by checking out vids like this. Sample rate, for instance.

I created a sample in 96k sample rate and my computer liked to crash. I exported it to mp3 and it sounds better than anything I’ve ever done. I can really hear the difference. What does this mean? My computer can’t handle a whole song.
