I'm 82, a retired man having no pension from pvt firm . I am having to pay 18 % GST on my my family Medical Insurance . I have never taken a penny's worth benefit from state. Eps pensioners pension can't be increased being a defined pension as replied by labour minister but they are also required to pay income tax as per standard income tax slabs. Every budget since then, would have been for upgrading the best days of country governing people. and updating the worst days of the poor.

'Rajiv Gandhi Foundation mein kitne SC hai?', she asked rightfully. How the opposition has fallen! There are hundreds of problems to be solved in each constituencues that our representatives represent in the House of People, and here is an opposition talking about some freakin 'halwa thingy' and questioning the caste status of the people working their asses off to prepare an important document!? If the opposition wants to point out the wrongs of the government, why is it not doing it in a right manner? Pose rational/significant/evidence based questions and ask answers. And just work for the people of your area/constituency; for the betterment of their lives: the drainage system, house prices, ensure good teaching happens in your areas' schools, get your police department working more efficiently and in better ways etc. There are so many little little problems everywhere which the people screaming and shouting would have laid before the big house if only had they diligently worked for their constituencies; if only they had diligently worked for their constituencies, trivial and embarrasing and nonsensical topics like crtiquing the freakin 'halwa ceremony' would not have happened. Youth looks up to the government and the opposition in the same regards and faith. You- elected 543 members- are our hope. If the House of People starts looking like a circus and not a place where the world's biggest democracy's problems would be addresed in a respectful and factual way and a place which is bestowed with the right to conduct enriching debates, where is the Indian teenagers ought to look for hope and intellectual stimulation politically?
None of us are perfect, but if we 'help' each other, collectively we can be happier and look for something brighter. It ain't happening by mocking, shouting, screaming and thus putting an halt to the enrichment before it can even begin.
