Onn Tablet: How to Update System Software Update (latest Android OS)

I show you how to preform a system software update on a 2022 8" Onn Surf Tablet 3rd Gen but should be similar to other models as well. I hope this helps.

THIS DOES NOT WORK (at least, not for me)! I have the _exact_ same tablet including the same "Entertainment Spaces" _wart_ (on the left) and even the exact same box. I see in the video that Android 12 is current as of Nov. 1, 2022. However, my tablet is running Android 11 (Feb. 5, 2022) and refuses to acknowledge any Android update. I'm not sure how to get this Android 12 update unless there's some sort of Google/Walmart program a person has to sign up for or possibly toggle/change a developer setting or something. Perhaps a complete system reset is required before updating? (Not sure I want to try "flashing" the ROM yet.) Seems you may have missed a critical detail or two here.

This new android 12 update screwed up the entire tablet. The apps won't open and the playstore won't download or install anything new and it keeps saying "quick links" is not working properly

I did this now my screen is completely black and tablet wont do anything. When u click power buttons you can see the backlight come on but nothing is displayed on screen.

You didn’t even try! The onn tablet has a camera on the side of it, not on front! AND, the buttons are supposed to be on the top!

No way to go from android 6 to 11 ! It will just update what ever one you have !
