growing up, i never got love from my family, there was a lot of violence and manipulative things going on with my parents, my brother was a drug addict, i didn’t have much friends. it was tough. but there was one single time when my mom came back from work and saw i had failed my test, i was ready for absolute worst. but instead she laid me down on her lap, stroked my hair and sang to me. believe me or not, the first song sounds so similar to what she sang. i’m actually crying right now. it was such a bittersweet moment that i had completely forgot about and this brought tears to my eyes knowing that i think back to that moment with calmness now.
