Study (Levantine) Arabic with a linguist, using cutting edge learning and memorization techniques, and a sociolinguistics informed approach to language learning. I studied MSA for years, and this is what made me give it up -- now it's time to get back to it.

47:15 ish, lebanese speakers often turn "ah" vowels into "eh" or "ih", so "m3allmih" "muhandisih" and "beb" are common in lebanon and "m3allmah" "muhandasa" "baab" are more common in jordan/palestine/syria

passing through the video, at 00:35:00, (i)tfaDDal in Arabic, is befarma(ieed) in persian, not bebakhshid; buyur(un) in Turkish; (the three have almost identical usage); similar to spanish adelante, in many cases;
tfaDDal and itfaDDal are the same word, with the addressee being a male; the initial (i) is a matter of accent and variety; (imperative masc. 2nd person sg.)
(i)tfaDDalu, addresses a group of males or a mixed gender group; (imperative masc. 2nd person pl.);
(i)tfaDDali addresses a single female; (imperative fem. 2nd person sg.)
and (i)tfaDDalen addresses a group of women(imperative fem. 2nd person pl.);

The word is important and is widely used in everyday life.

You're thinking of "Bedouins", not "Berbers"

Bro most neurotic language study session I've ever seen. ma3lim/a is weird you should just say ustaz/a for teacher. These dialogs feel pretty stiff and unnatural, but I have a lot of Lebanese friends so probably biases me toward Leb dialect. a3la kil hal, allah ma'ak.
