Noteworthy, for the sake's of Compost - tokens are not 'cards' so a black card being put into the yard will not trigger compost

I have been looking to build a commander deck just for those crazy 5 person games. I think Rendmaw might just be it the coolest one to do it with

How you have 6k subs and dont know tokens arent cards is beyond me.

If you wanted to go storm with cards like memnite and ornithopter, include Cloudstone curio. You’ll need 2 0 drops and curio with Rendmaw on the field. Little janky, but it’ll make infinite birds.

With curio and Rendmaw on the field, play ornithopter and make a bird.
Then play memnite and make another bird.
On this bird entering, trigger Cloudstone to bounce back the ornithopter.

In the artifact creature route, you could include an aristocrat sub theme with cards like junk diver and myr retriever and sac outlets like ashnods altar. Giving the deck recursion and allowing it to grind out long games.

Really excited for this commander, it’s janky and chaotic.

This is a great video with lots of interesting suggestions. I see many people have already addressed the Compost issue.

But additionally, Mycosynth Lattice will not work because it does not change permanents to artifacts on the stack. The “when you play” trigger checks the card while it’s on the stack not when it’s on the battlefield.
