As a blues fan, I appreciate the honesty here. Saka is class, Saka has been driven into the ground playing heavy mins and still shows up. Saka is more of a true winger taking guys on, Palmer isnt creating width as well, he wants the ball to create in the middle. IMO Id love to see Foden on the left, palmer as a 10, saka on the right. Bellingham double pivot with rice. I know people are gunna say Jude should start at the 10, hes not a natural 10 although he killed it for MAdrid there. He can play anywhere in that midfield and excel. I dont think it will happen because foden and jude would wanna play the 10 too. Cole has had a hell of a season, id love to see him start.

Palmer is a good player but haven't played at a major tournament for this England before. Besides, he's not even better than Saka so why you guys wanting him start ahead of Saka. The game is about consistency, and saka has been one of the most consistent young player in the world for the past 5-6 years. Since he got promoted to arsenal first time, he has been very consistent performing all seasons brilliantly, he has also been doing the same for England since he join the senior team.
Palmer has just been on form and needs to prove that for about 2-3 seasons before rating him hugely. Saka has been England best player at the last world cup so he doesn't deserve any disrespect. Southgate wouldn't be stupid to even listen to you guys.

Start Palmer over Saka on RW so Saka can rest is smart not because Palmer is better because he isn't. He's had one monster season starting finally consistently in his career, Saka has had 5 seasons improving in each one. Now if Palmer can replicate or come close to his numbers for another 3-5 seasons then we can have that discussion. Arsenal fans, Saka carried us for 3/4s of the season and when the kicks take their toll and finally Odegaard steps up, yall too quick to abandon him on POTS awards and its annoying. He was there when Jesus and Odegaard were injured, Havertz plus Trossard hadn't yet started their goals spree. Martinelli dropped a subpar season. If Jesus and Martinelli matched their output the previous season, Saka's assist stats would be insane. A star player needs his fans always.

Southgate MUST be very brave and go 3241 so then our forwards can have two 10’s behind Kane with Bellingham and Foden, then Saka on the right and Palmer on the left and simply switch whenever because all of them are that good to work it out.
Palmer is a natural left foot so he can easily switch from right and centre to left. I would also put dunk as a centre of 3 and walker for cover to the right and left Trippier.
then use Stones as two Dm’s alongside Rice and Stones is great passer and cover with Dunk.
A very attacking team but we don’t do defense well against the best teams so just attack them.

He’s 100% right. Saka is great but he’s one dimensional, but… I would actually just play Saka up top. Kane just behind him. Like Sterling in Euro 2021. Palmer on the right or left. Maybe not his favourite position but like Foden he can play anywhere in that attacking half of the pitch and he’ll rip teams apart.

Didn't even hear what they said, I'm a Gunner, do you really believe Palmer is a winger?? Saka is out and out a winger. Look at their position play this season, understand the comparison but just because Palmer scored some goals he needs to start above Saka, Saka is more direct and would get the best out of his forwards(Kane or Ollie).
