My personal journey from despair to healing from addiction and benzodiazepine withdrawal to a new life of hope and joy. My doctor told me that benzodiazapines act like freeze dried alcohol. When we come off of them it's like an alcoholic quitting drinking. Vitamin b1 used to be the go to for recovering alcoholics. I tried that and it is helping immensely. It ups my mood and I feel down unless I take it. I am six years cold turkey off of xanax.

I just orderered some magnesium Glucynate. Hope its work for me. I took my last 2mg of valium 7 days ago. I went almost cold turkey too. I allowed myself 2mg per week. I had burning skin, panic attack, insomnia... I was really depressed... I am back to 6hours sleeping but always wake up during the night. It took me over a month to feel better. Still feel weak but I passed the hardest. I always take low doses and not daily. Even with this withdrawal was terrible. I discover your channel that give me some hope during hardest time of my life. Thank you D❤n

Thank you for sharing the supplements you take. It's helpful to see how people are healing. There's so many out there silently and helplessly suffering from benzos withdrawals. Glad you are out of withdrawals.

I am in proctracted withdrawal and I feel very grateful for the videos Dan. I have walked a lot alone during these last 4 years but I find comfort, courage and determination to continue until the end. Thank you Dan for easing my suffering.❤

I started taking, 4-5 years ago after tappering from benzos:
- vitamin D
- omega-3
- vitamin B complex and probiotic capsules (alternating this two)
- magnesium before going to bed
Daily to regulate the nervous system and mood and improve cognition.
But I've been so depressed this last entire year (after covid) that I've been a complete mess and I've barely get up from bed, let along take care of basic hygiene and diet or exercise.

My 2 cent of advice do whatever you can buy don't give up that's it, people with cancer also try everything to live more so why not us we are not in a death sentence situation it's just an damage so do whatever can heal it that's it. One day you I'll be alrighty than

Dan case was severe he gone through many years and abuse of different drugs plus very high 6 mg kpin daily to cold turkey so those on lower doses don't get panicked just take your time and safely get off.

I used to take a ton of supplements when I attempted to get clean around 8 or 10 years ago. I would go to the whole food store and buy all kinds of stuff. I used to take a supplement called TAG glutamine. I might take this one again it is good for your stomach and muscles. I have heard that magnesium glycinate is good for you and NAC sounds interesting I will look into this. I just stayed away from taking anything right now because it felt like I was taking pills again to me. I just wanted to let my body heal as natural as possible with just food and exercise. The supplements never really seemed to help me, but I have heard other people respond to them. I just can't take anything yet. In my mind I am just looking for a benzo Cadillac, but nothing ever helps me. I think I just want to feel the maximum pain and let my body heal as natural as possible while I have the time to do this.

Dan i am kpin 1.6mg guy from 3 years I hooked on gabapentin due to its high euphoric effects I started it in thinking it will help quite benzo but it becomes another crutch i am still taking it on and off cause it cause flatten apathy in me but I wanna ask will supplements help magnesium threonate l thynin omega passion flower

Magnesium glycinate, NAC,lemon balm and LTheanine helped me as well, I see LTheanine didn’t work for you but this is what I started with and it did help me with anxiety and sleep but then I tried the rest and I’m still taking them till today.. 3years 8months later

Black seed oil high in thymoquinone helps with a lot of things. Too many to count
My night time stack is Magtein and Glycinate, fish oil, theanine and apiginen and lemon balm. Lemon balm stops reuptake of gaba and its helpful with getting.
Morning stack is 80 mg caffiene, tyrosine and fish oil.

Hey Dan thank you for making this video. Its really helpful and hopeful 🙏 Glad you are doing better.
I hope to try Ashwagahda as ive read it can help repair dendrites and axons as well as promote sleep. Can i ask did you have any side effects when you tried it? Or any withdrawal when you stopped?

Vitamin D is huge…crucial, especially in the Winter months for us. D uplifts our Mood and spirit, for sure.
My sister is an experienced, highly regarded, certified RD and recc’d to my Brother and I to take Vitamin K2 with our D.
Apparently, it “enhances” the D; they work synergistically.
Have you heard or read this, Friend? 🤔
What do you think of this wee tidbit? 😁
