Servicing a vintage Sherwood S-7200 receiver part 3/3

Finally figured out why the stereo lamp wasn't lighting - The stereo multiplex was not firing. This turned out to be due to a defective switching transistor that switches from mono to stereo operation and turns on the lamp. The original was barely adequate for the job - our test one works but runs a little too hot. Once I put a beefier transistor in the set works beautifully and is now fully aligned.

How does one access the pointer lamp? Am replacing all the lamps and stymied at the traveling dial. Removed the front most panel(after taking the main case off) and I can see how it travels left to right, captive in a channel in the rear. It looks like it can be pulled off the top, maybe slipped forward. But I don't want to break the tuner string or recalibrate the pointer location.

I have a sherwood s-7210a that i picked up for $30 & when i opened it up i noticed someone chopped all the wires for the display bulbs and removed all the bulbs as well. I am not getting any voltage from bulb circuit board so any way i can steal a power source to convert the display bulb to an led strip light?

I was hoping you could help me. I am repairing my 1970s HH Scott 380R receiver. Something failed and took out 5 transistors on one channel. I am thinking a capacitor must have shorted and over biased something and caused an avalanche of destruction Can you or anyone else steer me to a website app or website for getting cross-referenced replacements for the Japanese transistors that were used in this receiver? Thank you.
