Jordan: Azraq

Our trip to Azraq in central-eastern Jordan was an amazing experience. Azraq originally was an oasis and a crossroad for international travel, with roads connecting to Syria, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia.
Here are the things we saw/did in Azraq:
- Desert castles
- A fortress built by the Romans and used as a base by TE Lawerence later on
- Azraq Wetlands, now 10% of the size it used to be
- Cooked a Bedouin meal in the desert, with a camel herder passing by right next to us!
What makes it amazing are the people we are with. Hope you enjoy! ✨
