As tacky as this looks, I wasn't expecting the plot to revolve around the High School where High School Musical was set and they would put on an in-universe musical based on that movie where it was shot . Does this mean the original cast would make an appearance as themselves? Also, I'm glad that they casted actors who actually look like teenagers rather than 20 year olds from the original; It makes sense realistic wise.
