In this video I cover the actual process of running the Giant excavator itself. What you need, how to turn it on and how to get the most resources possible for your wipe. (Get HQM, Metal Frags, Sulfur & Stone)
The Giant excavator has been in the game a little while now, is often found on the edge of maps and mostly ignored. A lot of people having not understood how the monument works or just how efficient at collecting resources it is.
I’ll break down what you need to get started, what you need to be aware of, how to operate the machine, select resources and manage the output of HQM Ore, Metal fragments, Sulfur ore and Stone.
To give an example, the Giant Excavator gets HQM in Rust ten times faster than the HQM quarry and costs half the price of scrap than the method of recycling 16x scopes for HQM.
Everyone’s wipes are different, you may find yourself living next to the monument, or playing at times where the resident zergs are sleeping, you may have an excess of diesel fuel or you might just simply want to run this cool monument for a bit – It's always good to know exactly what you’re doing before you turn up to try.
Hopefully you find this video useful – if you did, give this video a like and as always, please consider subscribing as each and every one means so much!

Rust is an open world survival game available on PC and in Beta on Console (Xbox and PlayStation). The goal of the game is to design and build bases, gather resources and defend your loot against other players, groups and zergs. Play through the primitive early game and make it to end-game PVP with tier 3 weapons over the span of a wipe.
