Adhd and anxiety are tested together. When I was tested I was on the border between the two. My parents had assumed it was anxiety cuz I couldn't read well. Turns out it was both 😂

I smiled same time with the boy in the end. I felt the joy he felt of making believe he's not worthless

My oldest one will do negative stuff just to get attention. I always tell her to hug me and remind her that she doesn't need that kind of attention. I'm right there for her, so I hug and kiss her. My little one is so independent and plays by himself a lot but I know he needs attention too. All kids need attention. They want to be seen and appreciated by who they are.

What makes me angry so much is the mother says "It's been a long day". WHY THE F*CK DID YOU MAKE KIDS IF YOU DON'T EVEN SPEND TIME WITH THEM OR EVEN CARE THEM?!

I first had a anxiety attack when I was 12 I remember coming home from school late (around 6pm which was really late for my neighborhood) my parents were in the living room waiting for me when I got inside and they immediately started yelling at me and then out of nowhere I started breathing heavily it was as if I had no air in my lungs and my parents immediately got me a paper bag to breathe in and I did for about 5 minutes and when it was finally over my parents looked at each other and then looked back at me and told me that I just had a panic attack which is wild considering that I was the most chill child my parents had and now I encourage everyone to know the signs of a panic attack and learn ways to prevent them

This episode showcases one of my illnesses (Churg-Strauss syndrome but now called EGPA) biologic treatment is one of the most and only successful options out there and before it it was pretty much fatal within 5yrs from symptom onset.

The treatment has only been around a couple years so I’m lucky to live in the time I do but it’s still a pretty horrible illness. I almost died many times due to it and it’s still life threatening so it’s changed what “normal everyday life” is for me and you need serious monitoring… House featured it briefly as well as a possible diagnosis and they did a pretty good at it! Only differences when the episode of House was filmed the biologic treatment hadn’t yet been discovered to work with EGPA but other than the prognosis/possible treatments it was the most accurate I’ve ever seen on TV even the diagnosis aspect.

Chicago med did a great job of portraying an accurate lol for example due to how critical of a state the woman is in, they would never do a biopsy because it’s far too dangerous and one of the places EGPA causes the most serious damage is your lungs so the safer option would’ve just been to do a CT scan along with bloodwork and of course other diagnostic criteria that needs to be met and much safer than doing biopsy on already damaged weak lungs

1:03:00 -- Oh dear. The young man actually thinks that Ayn Rand knew what she was talking about. Sorry, kids, but the captains of industry do not "go Gault" in real life.
