I’ve gained lots of muscle doing IF 18/6, breaking fast with collagen, eggs, chicken broth and pork rind, during 10 months and some times doing 72 hrs and then lifting weights before breaking my fast. And doing Keto Thnx Thomas

Since I’ve started keto, I’ve been able to put on way more muscle mass and still lose 50-70 pounds of fat. When I do have carb weeks or so I don’t find myself having any better performance. In fact, when I’m carb heavy, I seem to get a lot less MMC (Mind Muscle Connection)

IR/T2 Diabetic. Back to IF/Carnivore/<20g Carb/Diem diet. Down 10 pounds in one month. Shooting for 25# loss in next 30 days to fighting weight of 165#. Upped cardio to couple of miles walk ever other day. Planning to add weights and machines odd days over next month. Had lost 70# prior to a few months before co19 lockdowns. Put on 20# due to inactivity and brews. Need to turn that about, cut brews, back at IF/Carnivore/Low Keto& Exercise @ < 1500 calories per day < 20g Carbs per day. Best

I switched to targeted keto after stumbling upon your video from March of last year "BEST Plan to Build MUSCLE with Intermittent Fasting - Complete Guide". It's too soon to know if I'm reversing my dramatic performance slide, but I already feel much better by just throwing in a few carbs after a fasted workout.

I utilize carbs like a utilize sugar in a way. I save my sugar (40g~) to before my workout. I save my carbs for night hours after working out. I get fats and protein before workout and carbs and protein after.

For I train cross-fit 6 hrs per week, I usually train fasted and even when I load up on carbs, its mostly resistant starch(oats, beans, oat pasta, baked potato, sweet potato, etc) and I have never trained better and I go on high protein on my rest days
