As a woman who can not have children and had many horrible comments made towards me by men about this I can honestly say that no one should be saying stuff like this to anyone not even to a man!!! She isn’t a woman and this man needs to walk away pronto😢

Children should have been discussed sooner than 1 month in. Much sooner. She felt like he wasted her time, but what she said was horrible and unacceptable.

When I was single and dating, I would have been thrilled to meet this guy. No more BC! I later met and married a man who was sterile, and that worked great for us. He’s since passed, I had no kids, and no regrets.

Why did he wait a month to tell her he had a vasectomy? I'm a woman who was born unable to have children, and that was a second date conversation for me. I didn't think it was fair to withhold that information longer than that. I'm sure plenty of people will disagree with my point of view, but 35 years later I feel completely comfortable that I did the respectful thing.

Normally, hear this said to a woman. I’ve never heard it said to a man. Regardless of who it is directed to, it’s ignorant and cruel. A person’s ability to procreate should have no bearing on their value or self-confidence. I’m a proud childless cat lady and I love it. I would have been an awful parent.

What she said was cruel, but I would also leave immediately if I couldn't have kids with him/he can't get it reversed. Nothing wrong with wanting kids, but also no reason to say cruel words to him. As someone who's struggled with infertility, but still managed to have kids (pregnant with my fourth), the cruel comment was unnecessary on her end.
