I love how this New Zealand Folk Song has been revived by Nathan Evans and half of Tik Tok in the past couple of weeks! Who would have guessed that singing Sea Shanties would be a world wide sensation in 2021? In a way it makes sense .. Covid has all of us feeling a little "lost at sea" and in need of some good old foot stomping camaraderie and connection! It's certainly lifted my spirits - and seeing the collaborations on Tik Tok has been magical and so inspiring! I hope you like my piano arrangement! I've included the lyrics so that you can sing along.
