please don’t feel sorry for asking for contributions...it is already so unfortunate that this channels reactions, which have so much depth and detail and are so so informative, cannot earn money from ad revenue. Granted, just doing reactions is a cheap way to get views, but this channel has been teaching so many people about music theory and music making and the incredible variety and depth of so much korean music. you've really brought so much to the table here, and it is already evident in the way many other "experts" - video editors, video producers, dancers - are also trying to bring a new light to kpop. thank you so much umu!

Although I'll always love and appreciate the original reactors, I'm actually pretty looking forward to some new blood.

I have been with this channel since I was a freshman in high school and now I'm entering my second year of college. I cannot support financially, but I will always watch the videos on this channel. It has made me feel like I should play the guitar again lately, and if I do, I will have this channel to feel thankful towards. I only wish for this channel to keep growing and wish everyone behind it the best!

I personally would prefer the information script after. However, as most reactors prefer it otherwise, you could just try it for a couple of reactions, so they can see for themselves how it turns out.

You guys are some of the best reactors I've had the pleasure of watching. I love that the different personalities of your crew really come out and complement each other in the reactions. As a process junkie, I love learning the musical terms and the amount of depth you get into on some of these tracks. Season 4 especially got me hyped when you all started interviewing kpop producers and songwriters, too. I really appreciate all the hard work you're putting into your content and I'm more than happy to become a Patron to help you keep the train going (getting you to South Korea to infiltrate the agencies?! Yes please!). Thank you for everything so far and good luck to all of you in the future!

I think that a nice little addition to the Classical Musicians React series could be providing the lyrics or re-watching the MV with lyrics before the post-discussion. Because seeing how the lyrics either compliment or contrast the music can play a role in how it’s perceived. As opposed to a lyrical summary.

I'd love to see the reactors figure the theories out but you had a point saying that doing it can distract them on how they watch the videos or making them lose their focus on the sound so I think you should keep it like how it is, perhaps use that technique (saying what is the song about at the end) when the mvs are mostly artistic or in special occasions only, not always.

Thank you for your work and congrats to the graduated reactors! This is one of the few youtube channels I love and can't wait to see what brings the future ♡

1) I love when you put the definitions in when they mention it. It really helps a non musical person out. It also helps when you put the music in the bg when they are talking about certain parts of the song 2) I like having it before but it would also be good to have a basic description before and a more in depth after they react. I personally liked how you did Ladie’s Code reaction and the format worked well 3) I love your videos and I will continue to support you wherever you take the channel

Wow Umu, I really started following this channel for a year and a half. It hurts and excites the new changes that will come, but I will do my best to support this magnificent channel.
ReacttotheK Success! We will make this dream a wonderful community.

umu i really admire and appreciate you for all your hard work you've done over the past 4 years !! it's been so amazing watching this channel grow :')) personally i think putting the script at the beginning is fine !! like you said, it might distract them to think too much about plot theories because sometimes they're so detailed and complicated !! and it's probably better if they focus on the music~ once again thank you so much for everything !! you're so amazing and i'm super excited for s5! p.s. your parents are so cute omg xD

I think it's good you summarize the meaning of the song before the reactors listen to the song! It often leads to instances in which the reactors are able to dissect the way the song serves the meaning. Without context they may notice cool aspects of the song but not remember all the details about how the composition fits the theme (an ascending melodic line is unremarkable on its own but if the lyrics describe climbing, that's more noteworthy). Perhaps you can vary the amount of info you give based on the song.

thank you so much for this channel. I know you never anticipated how big this channel would get, but this channel is SO informative, educational, and I love the production breakdown interviews with the producers. this channel single-handedly demystifies kpop and how the music side of the industry works, as well as shed light on what makes kpop music so interesting and compelling. over the years, hearing the breakdowns of the songs you react to has made me realize that I want to switch careers and go into the arts. I never realized there was so much art and inspiration that goes into producing for kpop and for the first time ever, I actually believe I could be part of that one day. thank you again. I will be buying merch and making a contribution. it's the least I can do for a channel that has inspired me this much.

It would be "more fun" for the reactors to try and figure the song out as they listen, then again it'd be like every other reaction channel out there. Classical Musicians React has always offered something different, a truly musical perspective, and I think anything which detracts from that would make the channel less unique.

Omg. I've been following this channel since the first season and it makes me feel proud to see it grow so much over the years 🥺

I've lost track on how long I've been watching this channel, I felt like I grew up with those who started, left and stayed. Definitely the best channel that taught me a lot of things about music. It basically shaped how I listen to songs. Before, I would just listen to a song and decide if it's a pass or not. Now, I look forward to listening to everything from the start to finish with greater expectations. Sadly, the ideas I had in mind to contribute had already been mentioned by a lot of people so I don't want to repeat. Goodluck on the next journey, I'll be looking forward always.

I prefer the script beforehand. It may cause some guided responses to the music, but I think that context makes reactions all the more interesting! Thanks for all you do! Excited to support you on Patreon, and thanks for being so open

Hey Umu. I like any of the more technical things you've mentioned. I'm always up for more information from people who know a lot about a topic, especially one I don't know that much about.

What I would be interested in seeing as a new thing you could do on the channel is reactions to music + dance practice. Although it's not quite the same thing, I'm thinking about this in terms of the Black Swan video that everyone reacted to. I'd be interested in hearing the musicians talk about the overlap of dance and music. There are a lot of reaction channels on YT that do just music videos and a lot of "dancers" that just watch dance practices and some that comment on the dancing, but I don't really see anyone talking about how the two interact and inform each other. It would be cool to see what the musicians have to say about it.

Of course, I realize this may not work if they have nothing to say or have no experience in dance, but I thought if anyone channel would be able to do it, it would be yours. Good luck with everything regardless!

I'm also sad to see less of the graduating reactors but still happy for them wherever or whatever they may end up doing after college 💕

I think the information script could be divided into half before they react and half after they react like the song title, artist, and release date before then meaning of the song, concept, fun fact after... Just a thought :)
Also, I just wanted to say thank you for all of the work that you put into this channel. Hearing the sheer number of hours per week spent perfecting videos sounds grueling, but it's good to hear that you and everyone else on the team is doing this because you love it. It makes me so happy to see fellow fans spreading their love of K-pop, and I'm glad you've found an original way to do so. I've been here since Season 1, and it can be hard to see reactors leave. I will always miss the old crew and their wonderful input, but I wish the best for them and their future. I look forward to more amazing content from you, Umu. Fighting! ❤️
