NEW TF2 Summer 2021 Update! Bots Finally Gone!?

So.... it happened, TF2 FINALLY got an update this year! Let's review it together and go over the 5 main pieces (new summer cases/cosmetics, features to handle bots better, security and stability improvements, 5cp map changes, and making mvm inspect changes).

War on bots isn't over, however we are gaining advantage on them

It lasted for only a day, I played a few match’s the day of, there was only one bot but it instantly got kicked. Now the usual bots like omegatronic and braaap are back and it didn’t do anything

Now, the bots have a new strategy. Casual matches turn into mvm. They kick humans in their team.

Even if they aren't completely gone, this is the biggest step Valve has made against the bot crisis. Rick May can finally rest in peace knowing his beloved game is sailing smoothly.

I played today, I play casual 2Fort just to see if it worked and it did! There was no bots. The day before that there was so many bots and everybody who was a actual player left. Today was different, no bots and I was pretty happy.

It's just sad seeing how commited the bot owners are with keeping the bots in the game.

I just came from a game on Kong King. The bots are still here. And they are SO MUCH WORSE.
In my game, BOTH teams had less than 4 actual humans on them, and the bots called votes on the real players and got them INSTABANNED because they all vote yes on humans, and no on other bots. And to make things worse, since Valve made it so there's a vote cool down when you FIRST JOIN THE GAME NO MATTER WHAT, I couldn't even kick any of them till the 2nd round (I joined in the 1st), and even then, the bot I voted to kick, 1. didn't leave so it didn't get banned for leaving during its vote off, and 2. EVERY BOT VOTED NO SO FAST, I DON'T EVEN THINK THE HUMANS HAD A CHANCE TO VOTE.
You what else? All of the bots in the chat were spamming "SO MUCH FOR THE ANTI-CHEAT UPDATE!"
Valve tried as hard they could, and by that, I mean I've seen whiney little 5-year old kids do chores with more effort than they did with this update.

actouly bots are still in tf2 but Valve made a thing that sends bots to a server that is made to make bots be there forevor

The changes are good, but it is too little too late. We should've gotten these things 2 years ago.

unfortunately, bot hosters are eventually gonna find away around this, but for the time we have, we’ll have peace in tf2 for several months, hopefully a year or more
