This is not the first time he has been driven around in G Class. Mercedes Benz is the official car maker of the Pope and there are lot of Mercedes in the Vatican. But Pope Francis likes to ride humbly so he uses a ford focus while in Rome and for public appearances he uses the Mercedes g wagon as its easy for him to get on in it and he likes the accessibility it has to the crowds.
