it removed the effects but it really did fixed the slow motion issue and the crashing issue between the character selection and story mode. Special effects are nothing if you can't even play the game, am I right everyone? HAHAHAHAHA

The game worked fine after I downloaded it aside from the random crashes but after I did what you said and iMax nor Framerate
still doesn't come up in config and now the game won't run anymore i'm getting "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142) error message.
