West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee briefs media, counters Home Minister Amit Shah's statement

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is addressing media. In her briefing, she slams Union Home Minister Amit Shah after his successful roadshow ahead of State Assembly Polls 2021. She says that ‘Home Minister of a country must know facts before speaking. West Bengal is No 1 in terms of eradication of poverty. This is not my data, this is the data of the Central Government’.
On COVID-19 pandemic outbreak, CM Mamata says that ‘We are giving COVID treatment to patients free of cost. We know life is priceless, but we are giving Rs 10 lakh and a job to the family of the COVID warriors who died fighting the pandemic’.
